FEA is the local chapter affiliated with Arkansas Education Association and National Education Association.
We are a team of classified and certified employees of Fayetteville Public Schools. We take an active role in making FPS the best it can be as a workplace, learning facility, and community partner. We believe that people working in schools have valuable insight and ideas, and we work to make sure those ideas are heard by the people making decisions about FPS goals and resources.
FEA is the only education association developed by and run by Fayetteville Public Schools employees. We connect FPS educators across buildings, disciplines and grade levels at monthly member meetings, book studies, professional development opportunities, and more. We share members' successes, we celebrate milestones, and we support graduating students with scholarships. We are an association of dedicated educators, and we represent many leadership positions throughout FPS.
As a member of FEA, AEA, and NEA, you have representation at local, state and national levels. Much of the representation is proactive, shaping laws and policies, and educating members about their rights. When members need help protecting those rights, FEA and AEA provide representatives to help.
The more voices we have, the stronger we become. We hope you join our FEAmily!
